EMAIL PASTOR GRANT

Peter Grant serves as the Lead Pastor of Parkway Church and the President of Parkway Christian Academy. He is deeply committed to preaching expositionally through the Scriptures, while teaching God’s Word with clarity and everyday application. Peter believes the gospel not only saves but transforms lives from the inside out. His ministry is shaped by a high view of Scripture and a Reformed theological framework, which guides his desire to see people grow as wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ.

Peter moved to Lakeland in 2012 after serving for eleven years as the Youth Pastor of Mikado Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. Since 2015, he has served as Parkway’s Lead Pastor, providing pastoral and visionary leadership to the church and school. He is especially passionate about discipleship as a lifelong journey and leadership development, working to cultivate a church culture marked by transformed living and missional impact. Whether preaching on Sundays or walking with people through seasons of joy and hardship, Peter seeks to lead with humility and faithfulness to God’s calling.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministries and is currently pursuing a Master of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a lifelong learner who enjoys reading theology and practical resources on Christian living, believing that healthy leaders are continually learning and growing.

Peter met the love of his life, Natalie, back in the late 1900s, and they have been married since June 2002. Together, they are raising two beautiful daughters, Bailee and Brooklyn. Outside of ministry, you’ll often find him on evening walks with his little buddy, Oli the Yorkie, enjoying time with his bride of almost 25 years, running or golfing, and reading a good book. He also admits to spending too much time on SimCity BuildIt, drinks sparkling water like it’s going out of style, and quietly enjoys Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (shhh!). Above all, Peter loves investing in his family and encouraging others to live rooted in Christ and sent into the world.
